The COMPTEXT Association offers a limited number of travel grants to PhD students, based on a motivation statement, and potential attendees alignment with COMPTEXT 2025 participation priority goals (including distance of travel, level of development of country of residence and diversity).

To apply for a travel grant, describe your motivation briefly in the provided field when registering for the conference.

These travel grants are designed for PhD students only. Students who have been chosen to receive a travel grant will be informed in mid-April. Students who have been chosen to receive a travel grant will only receive the disbursement after their presentation at COMPTEXT 2025 and the sharing of accommodation or travel receipts.

We cannot disburse grants beforehand due to University of Vienna regulations.

Selected travel grant recipients agree to share their profile picture and a one paragraph bio for the COMPTEXT website and future communications of the COMPTEXT Association.

The COMPTEXT Association aims to create a diverse atmosphere at its conferences and we hope that these travel grants will assist in some way in fostering greater inclusion and representation across our computational research community, particularly for scholars who might otherwise face financial barriers to participation.
