COMPTEXT is an international community of scholars working with text-, image- and video–as-data. The 7th International COMPTEXT Conference is also the first one under the aegis of the newly established COMPTEXT Association. We will provide more information on membership and other opportunities to contribute at the first plenary as well as the general meeting of the Association at COMPTEXT 2025 in Vienna. 

COMPTEXT Association Membership

We encourage you to join the COMPTEXT Association, which offers several benefits (with many more to come):

• Eligibility for reduced conference fees
• Eligibility for travel and other grants extended in the future by the Association
• Priority access for non-student participants to the training sessions of the conference
• The opportunity to participate in the annual general meeting of the Association

Membership Fees (2025 Calendar Year):

• Students (students of all levels, including B.A., masters and Ph.D): EUR 10
• General membership: EUR 20

You are welcome to apply for membership even if you are not attending COMPTEXT 2025. We also appreciate your help in spreading the word!
